1. Same Anchor text in Backlinks:
Whether you have a web page or a blog, make the effective use of related keywords. Avoid adding unnecessary keywords that do not relate to your webpage. One thing you can do instead of deleting articles is that you can set them Noindex and Nofollow with the help of Robots Meta or Yoast plugin. 5. Cloaking:
You probably would have used cloaking to hide the codes of your webpage from your visitors and brought up two different pages altogether for them and search engines. So search engines don’t see the normal pages and visitors don’t see the page created for seo. Google considers the cloaking activity as unethical. Strive to make both the pages same and prevent your page ranking getting poor. Its better that you remove these pages immediately and wait for the next update.
6. Purchased links to enhance ranking:

If you think Penguine has affected your blog, than first go and try to fix low quality links you are getting. Penguin stressed most in link profile.

Christian watch the videos carefully and you will find lots of mistakes we all do over the years like too many interlinking, Same keywords in many article Titles, Too many links in footer etc. Remove these as soon as possible and wait for another update.

google has become very strict with the website rankings. its penguin and panda update have affected many websites. websites with crap content have been penalized due to this. but people who write genuine useful content to their readers cannot get affected by any update. we just need to maintain the quality of our site and avoid all sorts of blackhat methods.
Kimberly its not the matter of doing wrong things intentionally because most of the bloggers do these negative things like Over optimization unintentionally. So the thing is that keep your blog nice clean, simple and easy to navigate. Don’t show too many links options to visitors and show only that is relevant to the users interest.
I feel Unnatural links, spammy back links and any automation stuff to your blog for eg: Traffic generate via bots should be strictly avoided.
Sham penguin is all about killing spam from the web. All thing which are in the category of Black hat SEO are no more fruitful now.

look at the search results!!!! many sites are banished. this is true. However, the google “algorythmus” is not sooo good.
In my niche, “dating” many sites banished, small sites rank better now.

I’ve found that relying on Google for traffic is a bad idea. Look to advertise elsewhere. Make videos and use social medial to help you. Buying ads on popular websites will also help.
